Yes, you can surrender your pet to the shelter but only if you live within the Mont Belvieu city limits and if there is space in the shelter.

Yes! We welcome anyone to come and find a fur-ever friend at out shelter. All we ask is that you meet and adhere to our adoption guidelines.
Our adoption fee is $10 for both dogs and cats. We accept adoption fees at the shelter during our business hours of Monday 8 A.M. - 3 P.M., Tuesday-Friday 8 A.M. - 4 P.M., and Saturday 10 A.M. - 2 P.M. in the form of $10 cash, exact change, or debit/credit card. We stop adoptions 1 hour prior to closing.
The majority of our animals have either been partially vetted or fully vetted. We can not certify the health of the animal prior to adoption or following the adoption.
Partially vetted can include sterilization (spay/neuter), rabies vaccination, heartworm test, microchipped, or has their age-appropriate vaccinations (parvo, distemper, and bordetella). The animal may have a combination of those services, but not all are included.
