The City of Mont Belvieu has five (5) sirens that are strategically placed within the City to alert residents for chemical releases, tornadoes, and other emergencies.
The sirens are located at
- Water tower in Cherry Point
- Water tower on Perry Avenue
- Water Tower at FM 565 and Loop 207
- City Park
- Pump station on Langston
What to do when you hear the sirenS
SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. When the sirens sound, go inside, seek shelter, and wait for additional information from the City of Mont Belvieu.

Siren Tests
The City tests its siren system the first Wednesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. No action is needed during the test of the siren system.
Local industry tests their sirens every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. (noon). No action is needed during the test of the siren system.
