Quilters flourish at The Hilltop as evidenced by their seasonal exhibitions. They are up-to-date on the latest techniques and are always willing to learn new techniques. One of the best things about the quilters who show up here is their willingness to help each other in figuring out the best way to put a quilt together.

Our facility has a large 40” x 60” cutting mat and four pull-down design boards available for use.

If you would like to bring your machine, fabric, rulers, and other tools to the center, please call 281-385-6668, then press 4, to check for room availability. If you choose to leave your machine or sewing supplies, the city is not responsible for missing items.

The Hilltop does not provide quilting classes.

Each year the quilters make a donation quilt, which is given to an area non-profit organization.

For the past few years, Chambers County Child Welfare Board has auctioned the donation quilt at their Annual Blue & Bling Charity Dinner.

The proceeds help support foster children and adoption, meet the needs of abused and neglected children in our county, and assist Child Protective Service in aiding the children under their care.
